Oestrogen HRT
Oestrogel (Estradiol 0.06%) Gel 80g is a transdermal oestradiol gel supplied in an 80g metered pump delivering approximately 64 doses. It is a prescription-only medicine and is dispensed against a valid private prescription.
Gina 10mcg Vaginal Tablets and Ovesse 1mg/g Vaginal Cream are local vaginal oestrogen preparations, applied directly rather than absorbed through the skin or taken by mouth.
Testosterone for women
AndroFeme 1 Testosterone Cream 1% 50ml is a testosterone cream prescribed for women. It is a prescription-only medicine.
Systemic and local oestrogen
Systemic HRT such as Oestrogel delivers oestradiol into the bloodstream. Local vaginal preparations act on the vaginal tissue. Which is appropriate is decided by the prescriber.
