Anusol Soothing Relief Suppositories can be used for relieving haemorrhoids as well as other related anal and rectal issues. They contain a combination of ingredients that provide soothing, healing, antiseptic and protective properties in order to alleviate symptoms of these conditions. They work to reduce swelling, soothe and protect raw areas, prevent bacterial growth and promote healing. Anusol Soothing Relief Suppositories contain added hydrocortisone to reduce inflammation and ease the discomfort of internal piles (haemorrhoids).
Hydrocortisone acetate 10mg, Zinc oxide 296mg, Bismuth subgallate 59mg, Balsam Peru 49mg, Bismuth oxide 24mg and Benzyl benzoate 33mg. Kaolin light, suppocire BS2 pastilles (hard fat).
Adults over 18 years and the elderly: Wash your hands before and after using Anusol. Wash anal area and dry gently with a soft towel before using this medicine. Remove plastic cover from the suppository before use. Insert one suppository into the back passage (anus) far enough so that it doesn’t slip out, at night, in the morning and after each bowel movement. The suppository will melt after insertion. Do not use more than 3 suppositories in 24 hours. Do not use for more than 7 consecutive days
