About 4SURE Fine 30G Lancets

4SURE lancets are used to obtain a small blood sample for blood glucose or ketone testing. They are supplied sterile, are for single use only, and come in a box of 100.

Design features

  • Additional rings and a ribbed body, to make the lancet easier to grip when inserting and removing it.
  • Chamfered base, for smoother insertion into the lancing device.
  • Twist-off cap for quick removal.

How to use

  1. Insert the lancet into your lancing device, following the instructions supplied with your device.
  2. Twist off the protective cap.
  3. Take your sample as directed by your device instructions.
  4. Remove the lancet and dispose of it in a sharps bin.

Use each lancet once only. Do not share lancets or lancing devices with anyone else. Do not use a lancet if the protective cap is missing or damaged.

Disposal

Used lancets are sharps waste and must be placed in a sharps container, not in household waste. Your GP surgery, diabetes team or local council can advise on obtaining a sharps bin and arranging collection.
