About 4SURE Fine 30G Lancets
4SURE lancets are used to obtain a small blood sample for blood glucose or ketone testing. They are supplied sterile, are for single use only, and come in a box of 100.

Design features
- Additional rings and a ribbed body, to make the lancet easier to grip when inserting and removing it.
- Chamfered base, for smoother insertion into the lancing device.
- Twist-off cap for quick removal.
How to use
- Insert the lancet into your lancing device, following the instructions supplied with your device.
- Twist off the protective cap.
- Take your sample as directed by your device instructions.
- Remove the lancet and dispose of it in a sharps bin.
Use each lancet once only. Do not share lancets or lancing devices with anyone else. Do not use a lancet if the protective cap is missing or damaged.
Disposal
Used lancets are sharps waste and must be placed in a sharps container, not in household waste. Your GP surgery, diabetes team or local council can advise on obtaining a sharps bin and arranging collection.

What does 30G mean?
It refers to the gauge, or thickness, of the needle. 30 gauge is 0.32mm. A higher gauge number means a thinner needle

Can a lancet be used more than once?
No. Each lancet is sterile and intended for single use. Reusing a lancet blunts the tip and carries an infection risk.
