Aronix Sildenafil 50mg Tablets – Erectile Dysfunction Treatment

Aronix contains sildenafil 50mg and is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men — a recognised medical condition where a man cannot get or keep an erection sufficient for sexual activity. It is one of a group of medicines called PDE5 inhibitors.

How Aronix Works

Sildenafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, allowing blood flow to increase when a man is sexually stimulated. Aronix only works when there is sexual stimulation — it does not cause an erection on its own. It typically starts to work within an hour and lasts for around four hours.

How to Take Aronix

Take one Aronix 50mg tablet, swallowed whole with a glass of water, about one hour before sexual activity. The maximum dose is one tablet (50mg) in any 24-hour period — do not take more than one tablet a day. Aronix can be taken with or without food, though it may take longer to work after a heavy or high-fat meal. Avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol, as this can reduce its effect.

Before Taking Aronix

Aronix is not suitable for everyone. Do not take it, and speak to your pharmacist or doctor, if you:

• Take any medicine containing nitrates, or nitric oxide donors such as amyl nitrite (“poppers”) — this combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure.
• Have a serious heart or liver problem, have recently had a stroke or heart attack, or have low blood pressure.
• Have ever had loss of vision due to a problem with blood flow to the nerve of the eye.
• Take any other medicines, including those for high blood pressure, chest pain or HIV.

Side Effects

Most men have no side effects, but some may experience headache, facial flushing, indigestion, a blocked or runny nose, or dizziness. These are usually mild and short-lived. Seek immediate medical help in the rare event of a prolonged or painful erection, chest pain, or a sudden change in vision. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date printed on the pack. Dispose of any unused medication responsibly.
