What is After Bite?
The After Bite pen is a fast-acting topical liquid that soothes the itching and irritation of insect bites quickly. What After Bite Pen is used for
After Bite pen helps relieve the itching, irritation and discomfort caused by bites and stings from common insects, including:
- Mosquitoes
- Midges and gnats
- Gadflies and horseflies
- Other biting insects
- Nettle and other minor plant stings
Applied promptly after a bite, it helps calm the urge to scratch — which in turn helps avoid the broken skin and secondary irritation that scratching can cause.
How After Bite works
The After Bite Classic pen contains an ammonia-based solution. Dabbed onto a fresh bite or sting, it works on the affected area to quickly neutralise the itch and soothe irritation, giving relief within moments of application. Because it’s a liquid dispensed straight from the pen tip, it targets the exact spot without spreading to surrounding skin.
How to use After Bite
For external use only. Apply to the bite or sting as soon as possible after it happens — the sooner you use it, the better the relief.
- Remove the cap from the pen.
- Press the tip firmly against the bite or sting to release the liquid onto the skin.
- Dab the affected area and allow it to work.
- Reapply as needed, following the directions on the pack.
- Replace the cap after use and store safely.
Avoid contact with the eyes, lips and any broken or damaged skin. If irritation persists or worsens, stop using it and seek advice. Always read the label and instructions before use.
