Golden Eye Antibiotic 1% w/w Chloramphenicol Eye Ointment 4g

Golden Eye Chloramphenicol Eye Ointment is for simple eye infections called acute bacterial conjunctivitis. This is sometimes known as red eye because the white part of the affected eye will be red and/or the eyelid will be red or swollen. There may also be a sticky discharge which can be make the eye difficult to open in the morning, and the eye may feel gritty or irritated.

Ingredients

Active ingredient: dibrompropamidine isetionate 0.15% w/w.

Other ingredients include: liquiid paraffin & dispersed polyethylene in mineral oil.

Use

For adults: Simply apply about 1cm of ointment to the affected eye(s) 3-4 times a day, but, consult your doctor immediately if there is no improvement within 2 days.

You should see your doctor if there is no real improvement after two days.
Do not wear contact lenses whilst using Golden Eye ointment.
